About Me
Incoming PhD Student @ UNC-Chapel Hill
Hi! I’m Xiao Yu (于潇). I will be joining Prof. Mohit Bansal’s MURGe-Lab at UNC-Chapel Hill as a PhD student in Fall 2026, working on NLP, Trustworthy AI, and Faithfulness.
Before that, I was a Master’s student at the School of Cyberspace Security, University of Science and Technology of China. I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Weiming Zhang and Assistant Prof. Kejiang Chen.
I have had the privilege of working under the guidance of Prof. Neil Gong at Duke University on AI security. I also had the fortune of being advised by Prof. Yue Zhang during my internship at the WestlakeNLP Lab, where I worked with Guangsheng Bao on detecting AI-generated texts in the era of Large Reasoning Models.
